Argentina's provinces equip hospitals with new diagnostic and neonatal equipment

The Government of Formosa delivered three modern laboratory devices to the Hospital de El Potrillo, including a CM250 chemistry auto‑analyzer, an electrolyte analyzer, an ELISA plate washer and an IChroma system for thyroid and ferritin testing, to increase sample‑processing capacity for the province and nearby communities.

In Entre Ríos, the Ministry of Health financed an investment of almost $10 million for Hospital Paranacito, adding a convex transducer for abdominal ultrasounds and another for echocardiograms, expanding the facility’s imaging capabilities and supporting mobile health outreach in island communities.

Córdoba’s provincial health authority spent more than 55 million pesos on a high‑complexity portable ultrasound for the hospital’s intensive‑care unit. The device offers bedside cardiac, abdominal, vascular and Doppler imaging, AI‑enhanced image processing and wireless DICOM connectivity.

Río Negro incorporated 11 high‑technology neonatal transport incubators into its ambulance fleet, distributing them to hospitals in Viedma, General Roca, Cipolletti, Bariloche and other locations to improve safety and monitoring during transfers of premature or high‑risk newborns.
