Argentina funds LED upgrades for sports clubs in La Adela and Atlético y Progreso
The provincial government of La Pampa allocated more than 21 million Argentine pesos to modernize the lighting at Club Deportivo y Cultural La Adela. The investment, part of the province’s Efficient Lighting Plan for sports venues, covered the purchase and installation of LED floodlights on the club’s main football field. The agreement was signed by Energy and Mining Secretary Matías Toso and club president Jorgelina Pesce, who highlighted the expected energy savings and extended nighttime use of the facilities.
Separately, Club Atlético y Progreso in Buenos Aires inaugurated a 14‑meter‑long, 1.5‑meter‑high LED billboard on the façade of its gym. The structure, equipped with about 8,000 LEDs, was unveiled by club president Norberto Mulder during the organization’s 59th anniversary celebrations. The display is intended to enhance the club’s visibility and modernize its premises as part of broader renovation efforts.
