Argentina gas firms APJ GAS and Aires del Sur face labor disputes and court battles

The Argentine Ministry of Labour ordered a ten‑day mandatory conciliation for APJ GAS, forcing the company to reinstate workers dismissed from its SAPEM gas service in Casilda and to resume safe natural‑gas operations.

Separately, workers of the industrial firm Aires del Sur have been without wages for seven months while awaiting a judicial decision that could allow a six‑month production restart. Approximately 122 employees rely on informal jobs and community aid, and the union plans a fundraising sale to support affected families.
