Argentina honors Malvinas War veterans through history projects and community service

In Argentina, regional authorities are conducting initiatives to preserve the memory of the Malvinas War veterans. In San Luis, Governor Claudio Poggi led a new distribution of the book ‘Malvinas, El Legado’ in Villa Mercedes. The project, which took two years to complete, compiles the testimonies of 79 veterans and their families. The publication is a multi-platform work, featuring a QR code that provides access to audiovisual interviews, photographs, and complementary information via a web portal.

In Santiago del Estero, Governor Elías Suárez received a delegation from the Malvinas War Veterans Center of La Matanza. The group, led by president Ramón Robles, was recognized for a charitable mission providing aid to schools in Isla Verde and other local areas. The meeting emphasized the importance of strengthening collective memory through solidarity and community service.
