Argentina hospitality and tourism sectors see major industry activity

Argentina's hospitality and tourism sectors are seeing significant activity through major industry events. The Hotelga 2026 exhibition, held at La Rural in Buenos Aires, recorded a 21% increase in attendance compared to the previous year, hosting over 15,600 professionals and more than 200 brands. The event, organized by FEHGRA, AHT, and Messe Frankfurt Argentina, focused on the HORECA sector (hotels, restaurants, and catering).

In the tourism sector, Catamarca has announced its participation in the 30th International Tourism Fair, scheduled for late September in Buenos Aires. The province will showcase 14 municipalities and various tourism products, including the San Francisco Pass and the Weaver's Route.

Additionally, Tierra del Fuego has been selected to host the 2027 edition of Expo Lagos Patagonia. This announcement follows the province's active participation in the recent business round in Bariloche, where officials engaged with international operators from Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Mexico, Europe, and Central America to promote regional tourism.
