Argentina hospitality fair Hotelga highlights industry growth
The Hotelga hospitality and gastronomy fair has concluded at the La Rural exhibition center, featuring over 200 brands across 20,000 square meters. The event highlighted specialized segments, including dedicated spaces for wine, vermouth, and a craft beer plaza coordinated by sommelier Martín Boan. Regional representation from provinces such as Mendoza, Córdoba, and Buenos Aires provided opportunities for business networking.
In addition to traditional hospitality, the fair featured a technology hub focused on artificial intelligence, software, and robotics designed to optimize hotel and restaurant operations. A design space, curated by Marcela Fibbiani, showcased Argentine national production tailored for the hospitality sector.
This industry activity aligns with broader trends for the country, as the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) projects a 4.9% growth in Argentina's travel and tourism sector for 2026. Beyond sports, the nation is gaining international attention for diverse destinations including Buenos Aires, Mendoza, Patagonia, and the Iguazu Falls.
