Argentina hosts AI conferences in Córdoba and Bahía Blanca
The U.S. AI Week Córdoba will take place on 10‑11 August at the Centro Cultural Córdoba. Organized jointly by the United States government, Carnegie Mellon University and the Province of Córdoba, the event will feature two days of training, a tech fair and workshops with U.S. agencies such as the U.S. Commercial Service, the International Development Finance Corporation and the Export‑Import Bank. Participants include entrepreneurs, researchers, public officials and others interested in applying artificial‑intelligence tools.
Bahía Blanca will host the BahIA SUMMIT 2026 on 25‑26 May at the Aula Magna of the Universidad Nacional del Sur. The summit, the first congress on applied AI for production in the region, aims to showcase concrete AI use cases in agribusiness, manufacturing, education and research, and to position the city as a hub for AI‑driven production. Speakers include national experts and representatives from local tech firms, and the event will conclude with the signing of the Bahía Blanca AI Node Declaration for 2026‑2030.
