Argentina hosts football coach training in Rio Cuarto and sports management workshop in Concepción

The Argentine Football Association’s youth‑team technical staff will lead a two‑day coaching‑education programme in Rio Cuarto on 19‑20 June. Theoretical sessions are scheduled at Centro 11 on Friday, followed by practical drills on Saturday at the Estadio Ciudad de Río Cuarto, with Grupo Ekipo coaches Quique Cesana, Adrián Gallará, José Pablo Matelica and Antonio Muraca presenting methodologies on training design, communication and learning environments. The event, organised by the municipal Sports Rio Cuarto department, follows a first edition that attracted more than 500 participants.

Meanwhile, Concepción del Uruguay’s “Olympic Month” includes a sports‑management and innovation training on Friday evening at the Auditorio Municipal Carlos María Scelzi. Dr Carlos Marino of the Argentine Olympic Committee will discuss change management for sports leaders, while coach Fabricio Martínez will cover neuroscience‑based decision‑making in sport. The free session targets administrators, coaches, teachers and physical‑education students, and is part of a broader programme that also features a regional athletics development meeting and other community sport activities throughout June.
