Argentina hosts international basketball and volleyball preparations

Argentina's provinces are staging high‑profile international sports preparations. In Posadas, Misiones, the men's and women's U23 3×3 basketball squads completed their final training camp ahead of the FIBA 3×3 Nations League U23 to be held in Asunción, Paraguay. Director of 3×3 basketball Carlos Spellanzón praised the "ideal conditions" and highlighted the tournament's role in securing World Cup slots.

Meanwhile, Neuquén will host a series of volleyball test matches between the Argentine and Chinese national teams from 28 July to 2 August. The matches serve as preparation for Argentina's upcoming Continental and Pan‑American U19 women’s championship and for China's build‑up to the U17 World Championship in Chile. About 42 athletes and staff will participate, with open training sessions for the public and live streaming via the provincial broadcaster.
