Argentina hosts major food safety and nutrition congresses in Tucumán and Paraná

San Miguel de Tucumán will host the XII Congreso de Alimentación Siglo XXI – Alimentos, Nutrición y Salud on 10‑11 August. Organized by the Argentine Chapter of the Latin American Nutrition Society (CASLAN), the Faculty of Biochemistry, Chemistry and Pharmacy of the National University of Tucumán and the Institute of Biological Research (INSIBIO, CONICET‑UNT), the event will examine food composition, nutrition, public health and food‑technology challenges linked to sustainable development goals.

Paraná, Entre Ríos, will hold the INOCUA 2026 conference, bringing together the I Congreso de Inocuidad, Gestión e Innovación Alimentaria de Entre Ríos and the V Congreso de la Red de Bromatólogos Municipales de Córdoba. Organized by the Institute of Food Control and Bromatology of Entre Ríos (ICAB), the municipal bromatology network of Córdoba and the Faculty of Bromatology at the National University of Entre Ríos, the two‑day meeting will focus on food safety, innovation, management, inspection and research to strengthen national food‑security policies.
