Argentina hosts MMA fight night in Catriel and cycling cup in Rafaela

The city of Catriel in Argentina will stage the third Ares Fight Night on 8 August, featuring more than twenty amateur and semi‑professional bouts in mixed‑martial arts and kick‑boxing. Organized by the local Team Ares school, the event will showcase fighters from Catriel and surrounding towns such as 25 May, Neuquén, and Bahía Blanca, with several title fights on the card.

Rafaela will host the UCI C2 Argentina Cup on 22‑23 August, a test event for the newly built indoor wooden velodrome. The competition, overseen by the Argentine Track and Road Cycling Federation (FACPyR) and the national cycling union (UCRA), will include junior and elite men’s and women’s races across sprint, keirin, points, omnium, elimination and madison disciplines, serving as a qualifier for international rankings.
