Argentina hosts multiple cultural performances this week

The cultural project “Te Cantamos Mercedes” will be presented on Saturday, 25 July, at the Teatro del Alma Encantada in Cosquín, Córdoba. Organized by María de la Paz Basco, the show features Paola Bernal, Pampi Torre, Ramiro González, Guada Gómez, Paula Granero and guests Joel Costa and Flor Straub, offering a dialogue with the legacy of singer Mercedes Sosa through songs and dance.

A separate theatrical production, “San Vicente,” will open on 9 August at the Teatro de la Sociedad Italiana in San Vicente, Buenos Aires. Directed by Manuel González Gil and produced by Faroni Producciones, the play stars Miguel Ángel Solá and Mercedes Funes and is a rendition of Michel Tremblay’s work.
