Argentina hosts first RIGI Business Roundtable in Rosario

The first Business Roundtable for the Large Investment Incentive Regime (RIGI) took place at the Estación Fluvial in Rosario, Santa Fe. The event, organized by the National Ministry of Economy with support from the Santa Fe government, aimed to link 43 large-scale investment projects in mining, energy, and infrastructure with national suppliers.

Approximately 1,800 companies, including many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), participated in the event. The roundtable facilitated over 2,100 business meetings and networking sessions. Key national figures in attendance included Karina Milei, Secretary General of the Presidency, Minister of Economy Luis Caputo, and Chief of Cabinet Diego Santilli, alongside various provincial governors.

During the event, officials emphasized the importance of integrating local SMEs into global value chains to ensure economic benefits reach a broader range of the population. Governor Martín Llaryora of Córdoba requested financing strategies to help local companies acquire the machinery and equipment necessary to meet the demands of these large-scale projects.
