Argentina infrastructure: utility expansions in San Antonio de Areco and Cipolletti

Infrastructure projects are underway in various regions of Argentina to expand essential utility services. In San Antonio de Areco, the Cooperativa de Electricidad, Obras y Servicios Públicos (CEOSP) has begun installing electrical infrastructure and LED public lighting for the Habitar 11 allotment. This work aims to provide power to 42 allocated lots. CEOSP officials noted that the current system has sufficient capacity for residential demand, though they are monitoring summer consumption peaks.

In Cipolletti, the municipality is preparing to tender a natural gas network extension project for the El Espejo I neighborhood. With an official budget of 497 million pesos, the project intends to benefit 192 families. The technical plan involves installing 4,460 meters of polyethylene piping and 192 domestic connections. The works are expected to be completed within 180 days and must comply with ENARGAS and Camuzzi Gas del Sur regulations.
