Argentina insurance sector holds exams and industry events

The Argentine insurance sector is seeing increased activity through professional development and certification. The Asociación Argentina de Productores Asesores de Seguros (AAPAS) has organized a celebration for Insurance Producer Day, scheduled for October 2 in Moreno, with a backup date of October 9 in case of rain.

Simultaneously, a federalized evaluation process for insurance producers and applicants is underway. In a single week during September, 402 individuals sat for exams across five locations: Córdoba, Junín, Santa Rosa, Tandil, and Mar del Plata. This initiative, a collaboration between the Ente Cooperador Ley 22.400, the Superintendencia de Seguros de la Nación (SSN), and local APAS, aims to decentralize professional certification by bringing exams to various regions of the country.
