Argentina introduces new aviation and tourism initiatives

The city of Trelew has launched the ‘Ruta Saint Exupéry’, a thematic tourism circuit designed to highlight the local history of aviation and the legacy of French author and pilot Antoine de Saint Exupéry. The route connects various landmarks, including the Trelew Aeroclub and the Astronomical Center, to showcase the history of Aeroposta Argentina and the early commercial flights that shaped the Patagonia region.

In Neuquén, the provincial government has introduced the ‘Volá Neuquén’ program to boost domestic travel. This initiative includes the addition of two new internal air routes connecting the provincial capital with Chapelco and Chos Malal. To incentivize tourism, the program offers 20% discounts on American Jet flights, as well as promotions for accommodation, gastronomy, and vehicle rentals in Neuquén capital, Chos Malal, and San Martín de los Andes.
