Argentina investigates medical misconduct in Rosario and Chaco

Authorities in Argentina have launched investigations into two separate cases involving medical misconduct. In Rosario, an aesthetician named Leila Gagliardi was arrested after police raided a clinic in the República de la Sexta neighborhood. Investigators allege Gagliardi practiced medicine illegally by using the professional registration number of another doctor. During the raid, police seized various clinical supplies, including syringes, needles, hyaluronic acid, and other aesthetic products.

In Resistencia, Chaco, a gynecologist is facing allegations of sexual misconduct and professional negligence. A 26-year-old patient filed a formal complaint with the Judiciary's Victim and Citizen Care Unit, alleging the doctor made inappropriate sexual comments and suggested she increase her sexual activity. The complainant also alleged that the professional provided her with expired contraceptives.
