Argentina labor market expects 2,000 new jobs for holiday season
The Argentine labor market is expected to see a surge in activity toward the end of the year, with projections of over 2,000 new job openings. This demand is driven by increased consumer activity during Cyber Monday, Black Friday, and the year-end holiday season, according to the human resources consultancy Randstad.
Currently, the firm has approximately 600 active searches, but anticipates a significant acceleration in both permanent and temporary hiring in the near term. The opportunities are primarily concentrated in sectors such as logistics and distribution, e-commerce, retail, mass consumption, hospitality, events, and gastronomy.
Specific roles in high demand include pickers, packers, and warehouse operators. These positions are essential for managing the increased volume of orders and optimizing supply chain operations during peak commercial periods.
