Argentina launches contests to fill school director and interim teaching posts

The General Council of Education in Argentina has called teachers who pre‑registered for the competition for director and vice‑director positions at primary, secondary and initial levels to formally ratify their applications in person at the council’s office. The deadline for completing the ratification is set for Tuesday, 30 June.

The Ministry of Education and Labour of the province of Catamarca announced a separate competition for interim and substitute teaching posts in state‑run schools. The notice details a timeline that begins with the publication of the call on 19 June, registration on 22‑23 June, provisional ordering from 24‑26 June, a objections period on 29 June, project evaluation and interviews on 30 June, and final order publication on 1 July.
