Foro Federal CTU debates Argentina's science and technology architecture

The Third Federal Forum of Science, Technology, and University (Foro Federal CTU) was held on October 8 and 9 at the Universidad Nacional del Chaco Austral (UNCAUS) in Resistencia. The event brought together researchers, professors, and technologists to debate the future of Argentina's scientific and technological ecosystem.

The forum aims to redesign the institutional architecture of the country's universities and research centers. Key discussion axes included technological development and sovereignty, the articulation of the CTU complex with social actors, and the federalization of science and technology to ensure that decision-making is not concentrated solely in major urban centers.

Participants worked on enriching a strategic document intended to propose a more integrated and federal system that aligns higher education, research, and innovation to meet national development challenges.
