Argentina launches free eyeglass programs in Entre Ríos and Río Negro provinces

In Concordia, Entre Ríos, the national "Ver para Ser Libres" operation completed its first week, providing 1,217 eye examinations and delivering 1,107 free glasses to children and adolescents aged 6‑17. Mobile medical units equipped for on‑site exams and immediate glasses production were deployed as part of a strategy that will cover ten departments and 16 localities in the province.

Meanwhile, the provincial "Enfocar RN" initiative began in San Carlos de Bariloche, Río Negro, aiming to guarantee free visual‑health services for more than 30,000 residents. Over 6,000 people have already secured appointments through a digital registration system, and the program will visit schools and neighborhoods across the city throughout June, delivering glasses and eye checks to those in need.
