Argentina launches new financing schemes for cooperatives and self‑employed
The Government of Mendoza announced a provincial credit package aimed at companies, entrepreneurs and cooperatives operating in the province. The program includes a dedicated line for cooperatives that finances infrastructure, equipment, technology and working‑capital needs, backed by a guarantee fund and subject to monitoring of fund use. Projects must be located in Mendoza and generate economic activity within the province.
Banco Nación introduced a separate set of fixed‑rate loans for monotributistas and autonomous workers nationwide. Loans carry a rate discount of up to three percentage points and can be repaid over up to 36 months for working‑capital purposes or up to 60 months for investment projects. Applicants must have at least 12 months of registration as a monotributista, no negative credit records, and the process is fully digital through the bank’s website or its branches.
