Argentina marks milestones of local health and nursery institutions
The LALCEC Bella Vista branch celebrated its 50th anniversary in the city centre of Bella Vista, Argentina, with mayor Noelia Bazzi in attendance. President Roxana Lezcano highlighted the organisation’s origins in community‑driven cancer prevention, its reliance on volunteers, and its continued service to low‑income patients. The ceremony included recognitions for founding figures such as Blanca Sosa de Arrúa and Lía Urturi de Vallejos, as well as a reception for attendees.
In Coronel Vidal, the Jardín Maternal “Mamina” marked 30 years of operation. The event was led by municipal mayor Walter Wischnivetzky and provincial senator Jorge Paredi, who praised the school’s role in early‑childhood care and the importance of state support for public education and health. The celebration featured children’s performances, a birthday cake, and participation from local officials, teachers, fire‑fighter volunteers, and families.
