Argentina motorcycle sales grow 30.4% in July
Motorcycle sales in Argentina experienced significant growth in July, with 71,217 new units registered. This represents a 30.4% increase compared to July of the previous year and a 3.4% rise from June, according to data from the Motovehículos Division of the Association of Automobile Dealers of the Argentine Republic (ACARA).
For the first seven months of the year, total registrations reached 511,986 units, marking a 41.9% increase over the same period last year. The market shows a strong preference for low-displacement models, specifically those under 150 cc.
Honda remains the market leader with 15,209 units sold in July. Other top brands include Gilera, which moved into second place with 8,590 units, and Motomel in third with 8,186 units. The Honda Wave 110S was the most registered model in July with 8,300 units, followed by the Keller KN 110-8 and the Gilera Smash.
