Argentina motorsport hosts Turismo Carretera return to Rosario and Turismo 4000 sixth round

The popular Argentine touring‑car series Turismo Carretera is set to return to the Rosario municipal circuit after a seven‑year hiatus. Recent infrastructure upgrades, including track safety and spectator facilities, have enabled the venue to host national competitions again, prompting expectations of strong local attendance and a boost to the city’s hospitality sector.

Meanwhile, the Turismo 4000 championship will hold its sixth round of the 2026 season, featuring 42 championship points. Series leader Sebastián Salse (Dodge) will be joined by returning driver Nelson Costanzo, while contenders Gonzalo Gonzalez (Chevrolet), Facundo Barnetche (Torino) and others compete for podium positions. The event will include practice, qualifying and the final race on Sunday, shaping the title fight for the remainder of the year.
