Argentina municipal road upgrades boost rural connectivity in Malargüe and Alberti

The Municipality of Malargüe, together with the provincial road authority, is continuing work to open and improve roads in the Coihueco Norte area. Officials say the projects aim to enhance connectivity, support local development and increase safety for residents and travelers. A municipal representative noted, “We keep moving forward because when there is commitment, effort and teamwork, no distance can stop us.”

In the Buenos Aires province town of Alberti, municipal crews are carrying out a series of road‑maintenance and improvement works. Projects include creating formal parking spaces at the busy Puente Larrea crossing, resurfacing Dr. Díaz street with reclaimed asphalt pavement, and stabilising rural routes that link farming parcels in Coronel Seguí and Mechita. The city is also beginning construction of a 100‑metre curb and installing LED lighting in the La Candela neighbourhood. Both municipalities describe the efforts as essential for safe traffic flow and better access to services.
