Argentina opens contests for 17 federal prosecutor posts

Interim Attorney General Eduardo Casal issued Resolutions PGN 38/26, 39/26 and 40/26 calling for open public competitions (Concursos N°135, 136 and 137) to fill seventeen vacancies in federal prosecutor offices and fiscal units. The positions are spread across the provinces of Buenos Aires, Santa Fe, Entre Ríos, Misiones, Chaco, Formosa, Salta, Río Negro, Chubut and Tierra del Fuego. Interested candidates must register through the online “Sistema Informático de Inscripción a Concursos de Magistradas/os” by 16:00 on 25 September, uploading documentation that proves personal, labour and academic background in accordance with the selection regulations. Identity and law‑degree certification can be done at the Secretariat of Competitions in Buenos Aires or, for residents elsewhere, through coordinated federal fiscal offices. Final lists of registrants will be published on 10‑12 November 2026, and the public draws of evaluators are scheduled for 15‑17 December 2026.
