Argentina police arrest individuals for illegal hunting and slaughter
Police in Argentina have conducted two separate operations targeting illegal rural activities. In Curuzú Cuatiá, authorities apprehended a 35-year-old man suspected of the clandestine slaughter of an ovine animal near National Highway 14. During the operation, officers seized meat cuts, a machete, a knife, and a sharpening steel.
In the Tandil district, the Rural Prevention Command arrested three men for poaching on private property. The individuals were found using six greyhounds to hunt without authorization or proper licenses. Authorities seized six dead European hares and are proceeding with legal actions involving the local court and the Ministry of Agrarian Development of Buenos Aires province.
