Argentina police seize 200+ kilos of drugs in Salta and bust open‑air Rosario drug bunker

Authorities in Salta seized more than 205 kilograms of cocaine and marijuana after raiding a house in the Juan Pablo II neighborhood. The federal operation, carried out within 24 hours of a vehicle stop, led to the arrest of a man and a woman, who were placed in judicial custody while investigators trace the shipment’s origin and distribution network.

In Rosario, police used a surveillance drone to locate an open‑air bunker where a narco‑gang sold cocaine in a public plaza. The aerial footage documented the sales and alerted ground units, which intercepted the suspects, seized significant amounts of cocaine, cash and phones, and placed the traffickers under arrest. Both operations were coordinated by provincial and federal drug‑crime units.
