Argentina political surveys show varying governor approval ratings

Recent political surveys in Argentina reveal varying approval ratings among provincial governors and municipal leaders. According to a report by CG Global Data, Mendoza Governor Alfredo Cornejo ranks among the lowest in the country, placing 20th out of 24 governors with a 49.6% negative image rating.

In a separate study by CB Consultora, Hugo Passalacqua of Misiones holds the highest positive image at 55.1%, followed by Rolando Figueroa of Neuquén and Osvaldo Jaldo of Tucumán. At the lower end of the spectrum, Ricardo Quintela of La Rioja and Gildo Insfrán of Formosa also recorded low approval levels.

The CB Consultora data also highlights regional dynamics in Entre Ríos, where President Javier Milei holds a 37% positive image, surpassing Buenos Aires Governor Axel Kicillof, who holds 23.3% in that jurisdiction. Additionally, Paraná Mayor Rosario Romero was identified as one of the most highly valued municipal leaders in the country.
