Josefina De Cara’s solo musical debuts in Buenos Aires as Argentine arts events heat up

On 27 June, actress‑writer Josefina De Cara performed her one‑person musical “Una en un sillón” at Chalet Cantoni Casa Cultural in Buenos Aires. The free, first‑come‑first‑served show blends theatre, music and poetry around a melancholy ghost‑woman story.

From 4 to 5 July, folk‑rock ensemble Entrerrianía, led by accordionist Facundo Torresán, staged a “Concierto Litoraleño” at La Casa De Costa a Costa in Entre Ríos, presenting traditional chamamés, rasguidos and tanguitos.

On 26 June, the UNCuyo Stable Ensemble presented the final performance of Dario Fo’s comedy “¿Y si nadie paga?” in the Teatrino hall of the university’s Nave UNCuyo, depicting a group of women reacting to soaring prices.
