Guillermo Francos criticizes Vice President Villarruel

Former Chief of Cabinet Guillermo Francos has launched sharp criticisms against Vice President Victoria Villarruel, labeling her remarks regarding President Javier Milei as “unprofessional” and “disloyal.” Francos argued that Villarruel lacks her own electorate and was elected primarily because of Milei’s candidacy, describing her position as an “add-on.”

Francos also addressed the circumstances surrounding his departure from the government, revealing that he faced persistent harassment and digital attacks from within the libertarian movement. He stated that constant social media campaigns calling for his resignation made it difficult to perform his duties, a situation that eventually led to a direct conversation with President Milei.

Looking ahead, Francos did not rule out running for office in the 2027 elections, specifically mentioning potential candidacies in the City of Buenos Aires or the Province, depending on future electoral agreements with the PRO party.
