Argentina promotes agro-innovation at French SIVAL fair and national Aapresid congress

ProMendoza, with support from the French Embassy in Argentina, invited Argentine fruit, vegetable, olive and vine producers to apply for top‑buyer status at SIVAL 2027, the premier French exhibition for horticulture, arboriculture and viticulture. The fair will run 12‑14 January 2027 at the Parc des Expositions in Angers, featuring more than 700 exhibitors and 24,000 industry professionals. Selected companies will receive VIP accreditation, accommodation, transfers and a reimbursement of up to €800, provided they secure at least ten meetings with French exhibitors.

Separately, the Santa Fe provincial government announced the 2026 edition of the Aapresid Congress, scheduled for 4‑6 August 2026 at the Metropolitano Hall in Rosario. After two years in Buenos Aires, the event returns to its birthplace to gather producers, companies, researchers and universities to discuss AgTech, sustainability, soil health, integrated production systems and market challenges. Officials highlighted the congress as a catalyst for economic activity in Rosario and a platform to strengthen public‑private collaboration in Argentina’s agro‑industrial sector.
