Argentina promotes tourism through regional familiarization tours

Argentina is conducting various promotional activities to bolster its tourism sector through specialized familiarization tours (fam tours).

In the Chubut province, the municipality of 28 de Julio hosted 55 tourism operators and agencies to showcase the newly opened Tir Halen Tulip Park. The tour included a walk through natural trails featuring the Marifil formation and local biodiversity. Mayor Luka Jones stated that the initiative aims to develop rural tourism and stimulate the local economy.

In Mendoza, the provincial tourism board (Emetur), in collaboration with Copa Airlines and travel agencies, hosted professionals from the Panamanian Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies (Apavit). The program aimed to demonstrate Mendoza's diverse offerings beyond wine, including nature, gastronomy, and culture, to encourage Panamanian operators to include the region in their travel products.
