Argentina protests over energy costs and territorial disputes in Ceuta and Melilla

In Argentina, massive protests have erupted in the Partido de la Costa due to exorbitant electricity bills reaching up to 1,500,000 pesos. This follows a period of economic tension under the Milei administration.

In Spain, a government map has officially designated Ceuta and Melilla as “territorios en disputa” (disputed territories). Spanish Foreign Minister Albares has accused Morocco of degrading bilateral relations through annexationist ambitions regarding these areas.
