Argentina province advances unified protocol to prevent labor violence

In Santa Rosa, Argentina, the Subsecretariat of Labor Relations led a new meeting of the Working Group on Labor Violence on July 30, 2026. Subsecretary Ana Rodríguez chaired the session, which brought together representatives from various provincial agencies, public officials, and stakeholders.

The participants agreed on the main guidelines for a General Unified Action Protocol that will standardise criteria, integrate approaches and set common procedures for preventing and responding to workplace violence across the province. Provincial deputy Patricia George presented key aspects of a draft law on violence prevention, prompting discussion and contributions.

The meeting concluded with a commitment to continue developing the protocol, launch a training cycle for the health sector, and involve trade unions in the process. A follow‑up session is scheduled for August 26 to advance the protocol and plan further actions.
