Argentina provinces Misiones and Santa Fe begin major road upgrade projects
The government of Misiones province is moving forward with an integrated project to intervene on about 50 kilometres of National Route 14 between Leandro N. Alem and Campo Viera. The plan includes repavement, construction of a third lane and other infrastructure improvements aimed at addressing the deterioration of the road after what officials describe as federal neglect.
In Santa Fe province, provincial senator Rodrigo Borla highlighted the announcement of a complete reconstruction of Provincial Route 39, a key corridor linking the departments of San Cristóbal and San Justo. The project is budgeted at 54 billion Argentine pesos and is described as one of the most important road works slated for the centre‑north region of the province.
Both initiatives form part of broader efforts by Argentine provincial authorities to upgrade deteriorating road networks and improve regional connectivity.
