In 2026, 2,551 people on waiting lists in Argentina have received organ or tissue transplants. The breakdown of these procedures includes 1,096 cornea transplants, 978 renal transplants, 322 hepatic transplants, 85 cardiac transplants, and various other specialized procedures such as renopancreatic, hepatorrenal, and pulmonary transplants.
