Argentina rolls out provincial education training on bullying prevention and literacy management

The Provincial Education Council of Santa Cruz organized a series of free training sessions in El Calafate focusing on strategies to prevent and intervene in bullying. The program, scheduled for June 13, June 20 and July 4, will be led by mental‑health professionals from Hospital José A. Formenti and officials from the Ministry of Development, Social Equality and Integration.

In Formosa Province, education authorities held a provincial workshop on June 4 for school directors to improve management of the provincial literacy plan. The event, hosted at the EPEP N° 124 “Coronel Luis Jorge Fontana”, was presented by Minister Julio Aráoz and Primary Education Director Juan Meza, emphasizing the use of indicators and performance evaluation to strengthen school leadership.

Both initiatives are part of Argentina’s broader effort to enhance school environments and instructional quality through targeted professional development for educators and administrators.
