South American Games 2026: Athletes compete for medals in Santa Fe

The XIII South American Games Santa Fe 2026 are underway, with various nations securing medals across multiple disciplines. Brazil currently leads the medal table, followed by Argentina and Colombia.

In swimming, Argentina's Malena Santillán secured gold in the women's 200m butterfly, while Macarena Ceballos won the 50m breaststroke.
