Argentina sees new theatre productions debut in Firmat, Roberts and Lincoln

The Cine Teatro Verdi in Firmat will stage the psychological thriller “El cuarto de Verónica” on Saturday, 8 August at 21:00. The production, directed by and starring Adrián Lázare, features Silvia Kutika, Fabio Aste, Tania Marioni and Lázare himself. The play, a Broadway success performed in more than 150 countries, holds the world record for the most performances in Argentina, with its 1,000th show scheduled for 2026.

Meanwhile, the cooperative La Cocina will present its original work “La canción de los pueblos” in two Argentine towns. The first performance takes place on 8 August at 15:00 in Roberts at the Biblioteca Popular José Ingenieros, celebrating the library’s 100‑year anniversary. A second show follows on 9 August at 18:30 in Lincoln’s Centro Cultural Tero Seco. The piece, written and performed by Manuel Mansilla and Ludovico Fonda, blends theatre, music, humor and poetry to explore local histories and identities. Tickets are priced at AR$10,000, with a promotional two‑ticket offer of AR$15,000.
