Three separate fatal crashes occurred in the province of Córdoba over the weekend. A 49‑year‑old pickup driver was killed after his Toyota Hilux collided with the rear of a cereal‑laden truck near Villa Ascasubi; the truck driver, 60, was hospitalized. A 21‑year‑old pedestrian was struck and killed by a Mercedes‑Benz truck carrying peanuts on National Route 158 near Carnerillo, and a 31‑year‑old man died after being hit by a Fiat Palio on National Route 19 near Río Primero.

In Entre Ríos province, a 28‑year‑old driver from Islas del Ibicuy survived uninjured when his Volkswagen 9.160 truck overturned on National Route 14 near Pueblo Liebig. The accident blocked the lane for several hours before traffic was restored.
