Argentina showcases family theater festivals in July‑August 2026

During the national Month of Childhood, the Atilra cultural centre in Sunchales will present the visual‑black‑theatre production “KI, el lugar de las criaturas” on 2 August 2026. The show, created by Uruguay’s acclaimed Kolectivo Romanelli, features a five‑metre tall figure, monumental puppets and ultraviolet lighting, promoting themes of nature, friendship and teamwork.

At the same time, the “Un Kilo de Viento” festival will run from 18 July to 2 August 2026 at Cuatro Elementos Espacio Teatral in Mar del Plata. Organized by Proyecto Dudú, the four‑week program offers more than 30 performances and six workshop days for babies, families and children, including productions such as “Vaivenes, Melodías de Cuna” and “Saltimbanquis”. Both events aim to bring immersive theatrical experiences to Argentine families during the summer season.
