Argentina social benefits and Catamarca school fees see September increases

In Argentina, ANSES has implemented a 2.11% increase in various social benefits for September, following July's consumer price index. The Universal Child Allowance (AUH) will reach $154,031 per child. When combined with the 'Tarjeta Alimentar' food benefit, total monthly income for a family with one child will be $195,471.55, while a family with four children can receive up to $642,311.20.

Additionally, ANSES updated three one-time payments: the adoption allowance is now $536,774, the marriage allowance is $134,430, and the birth allowance is $89,782. These payments are triggered by specific life events rather than being monthly recurring benefits.

In the province of Catamarca, the Ministry of Education and Labor has authorized a 4.74% increase in tuition fees for private schools that receive state subsidies. This adjustment for September is calculated based on the previous update from June and follows provincial regulations regarding automatic quarterly updates for subsidized institutions.
