Argentina social security agencies announce September 2026 benefit payments
In Argentina, several social security and pension updates have been announced for September 2026. The Caja de Jubilaciones y Pensiones de Entre Ríos will issue complementary payments on September 5, covering pending retroactives for various sectors including banking, justice, energy, and education, as well as the 'code 1650' liquidation.
At the national level, ANSES is implementing several benefit updates. The 'Complemento Leche del Plan 1000 Días' has been adjusted to $58,098 for eligible recipients of the Universal Child Allowance (AUH) and Pregnancy Allowance (AUE). Additionally, a one-time 'Asignación por Adopción' payment of approximately $535,670 is being processed for eligible groups.
Recipients of the AUH are also reminded to submit their 'Libreta AUH' before December 31 to certify health and education requirements, which allows them to claim the 20% portion of the allowance that is typically withheld throughout the year.
