Argentina stages simultaneous Primera Nacional matches and public World Cup viewing on July 11

On Saturday 11 July 2026 the Argentine football calendar featured two major public events. The Argentine Football Association scheduled a block of Primera Nacional matches to be played simultaneously from 15:00 across several venues in the Greater Buenos Aires area and other provinces, including fixtures such as San Telmo vs Chaco For Ever, All Boys vs Almirante Brown and Atlético Rafaela vs Deportivo Maipú. The games were streamed live on the LPF Play platform.

In the province of Jujuy, the regional government organized a free public‑screening event called “Punto Mundial: Jujuy Alienta” at Ciudad Cultural. Attendees could watch the Norway‑England World Cup group match at 18:00, enjoy a pre‑match programme with a DJ, food trucks and family activities, and then view the Argentina‑Switzerland quarter‑final match on a giant screen at 22:00. The event was open to the public with no charge.
