Argentina starts street renovation projects in Venado Tuerto and Godoy Cruz
From 29 June, municipal authorities in Venado Tuerto, Santa Fe Province, will begin work to remodel Belgrano Street. The project includes new sidewalks built to universal‑access standards, LED lighting, street trees, signage and waste‑separation stations, and is funded with provincial and municipal savings.
On the same day, the Aysam water‑services agency commenced the first phase of a comprehensive overhaul of Yrigoyen Street in Godoy Cruz, Mendoza Province. The works will replace ageing water and sewer lines, construct new roadways and sidewalks, and introduce a new collector. Traffic diversions and alternative routes for public transport have been announced to minimise disruption. Both initiatives aim to modernise key urban arteries, improve commercial activity and enhance everyday mobility for residents.
