Argentina expands municipal health initiatives across several provinces

The municipality of Chajarí announced the opening of a primary mental‑health care centre, aimed at adolescents, adults and seniors, with a team that includes psychologists and a music therapist.

In the Province of Buenos Aires, the regional health council (CORESA) met in Luján to coordinate primary‑care services among ten municipalities, reporting 28 CAPS and planning a 29th, and to strengthen the integrated health record system.

San Salvador de Jujuy presented "MuniMap," a georeferenced digital platform that will display municipal services and benefits on interactive maps, gradually covering all municipal departments and offering both public and restricted access.

The provincial government of Jujuy outlined a territorial health action plan for the rapidly growing Alto Comedero area, proposing new medical posts, equipment for blood‑pressure and ECG checks, and improved emergency response.
