Argentina's ANSES outlines 2.58% pension rise and June payment schedule
The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) announced that pensions, retirements and allowances will rise by 2.58% in June, using the April consumer‑price index as the reference. A universal extra bonus of 70,000 Argentine pesos will be paid together with the regular monthly benefits. In addition, beneficiaries will receive a mid‑year bonus (aguinaldo) equal to 50% of the highest half‑year salary, raising total June receipts for minimum‑benefit recipients to roughly 675,000 pesos.
Specific amounts were detailed: the minimum guaranteed pension will be 403,317.99 pesos plus the 70,000‑peso bonus and an aguinaldo of about 201,659 pesos; the Universal Pension for the Elderly (PUAM) will total 553,981.59 pesos; non‑contributory pensions will reach 493,483.89 pesos. The payment calendar follows the last digit of the beneficiary’s identity document, with dates ranging from 8 June to 29 June for different groups.
The measures apply to retirees, pensioners, holders of non‑contributory pensions and PUAM beneficiaries, and will be transferred directly to bank accounts on the scheduled dates.
