Argentina to host first National Cyberdefense Congress

Argentina will host its first National Cyberdefense Congress, Cyber. ar 2026, from September 16 to 18 at the Army Engineering Faculty. The event aims to bring together experts from the defense, academic, scientific-technological, business, and government sectors to address strategic, technological, and legal issues regarding the protection of systems and infrastructure in cyberspace.

The agenda is designed for ethical hackers, researchers, military specialists, and companies. Key activities include the presentation of technical papers and Bug Bounty exercises, which allow participants to practice identifying and correcting digital vulnerabilities. The initiative has been declared of interest by the Ministry of Defense and the Legislature of the City of Buenos Aires, reflecting a strategic national effort to develop cybersecurity capabilities.
